As we ring in the new year, I want to shar with you all my most anticipated streaming shows of 2024. Now, please be kind and remember that these are MY most anticipated shows that will be released in 2024. If you have any comments or want to share your list, leave a comment!
There are a ton of streaming services, and I am more than positive that I will be forgetting some shows on here, but in this list, I will give you what service it will be on, the date (if one has been released), and a brief description of the show. Let's begin!
10. Eyes of Wakanda

Brief description: A brand new animated show featuring warriors from Balck Panther's home known as Wakanda. This show will focus on warriors from Wakanda's past traveling the world to recover vibranium artifacts.
9: The Acolyte
Streaming service: Disney+
Release Date: TBD
Brief description: The Acolyte is set at the end of the High Republic era in a world of "shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers", approximately 100 years before "The Phantom Menace". A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated. This series will be 8 episodes long.
8: Agatha: Darkhold Diaries
Streaming service: Disney+
Release Date: TBD
Brief description: Agatha Harkness finds herself powerless after breaking out of her containment in Westview, New Jersey. She looks to some unlikely allies to join her on her quest to regain her former powers. This series comes off the heels of the MCU Disney+ series, "WandaVision"
7: X-Men '97
Streaming services: Disney+

Brief description: It serves as a revival of "X-Men: The Animated Series" (1992–97), and the plot will continue where the original series leaves off. Some of the same cast will be returning to voice their previous characters and a second season is already in development. Season one will be 10 episodes long.
6: Rings of Power Season 2
Streaming service: Amazon Prime Video
Release Date: TBD
Brief description: Set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before Tolkien's "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings", it depicts some of the major events of the Second Age. After the forging of the rings in the first season, this season will follow the Men, Dwarfs and the Elves and one to the Dark Lord.
5: Fallout
Streaming service: Amazon Prime Video
Release Date: April 12th, 2024
Brief description: The show depicts the aftermath of an apocalyptic nuclear exchange in an alternate history where advancements in nuclear technology after WWII led to the emergence of a retrofuturistic society and a subsequent resource war. This show is based on the RPG Video Game and will be 8 episodes long.
4: Echo
Streaming service: Disney+ and Hulu
Release Date: January 9th, 2024
Brief description: Following the events of Hawkeye in New York City, Maya Lopez is being pursued by Wilson Fisk's organization, leading her to return to her hometown in Oklahoma, where she must come to terms with her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace her family and community. The show will be 5 episodes long and they will release all on January 9th. The show is rated TV-MA and is the first to release on Hulu and have that rating. "Echo" is a part of Phase 5 and will be under the new "Spotlight" banner for Marvel.
3: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Release Date: February 22nd, 2024
Brief description: The series is set in a war-torn Asian and Indigenous American-inspired world where certain people can "bend" one of the four classical elements - water, earth, fire or air. Aang, the "Avatar" and the last living Airbender, is the "bridge" between the mortal and spirit worlds, and the only one capable of bending all four of the elements. This show is a live adaptation to the animated show and will be 8 episodes long.
2: The Penguin

Brief description: Taking place one week following the events of The Batman, the series explores the rise to power of Oswald "Oz" Cobblepot / Penguin in Gotham City's criminal underworld.
1: The Boys Season 4
Streaming service: Amazon Prime Video
Release Date: TBD
Brief description: In the season, Victoria Neuman is increasingly closer to the Oval Office and under the tight control of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. With more at stake than ever, The Boys and Butcher must find a way to collaborate and save the world before it's too late. This season takes place after "Gen V".
