After a two year hiatus, the Ghostbusters are back in town. Two years after Phoebe Spengler found out that she is the descendent of a founding member of the Ghostbusters, the Spengler family returns to New York City with new and familiar faces.
This film has everything for both new fans and original fans of the franchise. With several new characters joining the fray, such as Patton Oswalt as Dr. Hubert Wartzki and Kumail Nanjiani as Nadeem Razaadi, the returning cast from Ghostbusters: Afterlife and the cast of the original Ghostbusters movie return to continue the story of the Spengler family.
If you are a fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, then this is a film that you would enjoy. With plenty of humorous callbacks and references to the original two movies and Afterlife, Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan prove that the franchise is in good hands. I highly recommend seeing the film in IMAX, so you can enjoy all the ghostbusting action on the big screen!
