The best weekend in Professional Wrestling is finally over and boy did we have an AMAZING weekend! Both Terrill and Jt are life long fans of Professional Wrestling and this weekend was magical to say the least. From new champions to a new era being introduced, THIS IS WRESTLEMANIA 40!

Night One:
Women’s World Championship Match. Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley (C).
Winner- Rhea Ripley
Jt’s Grade- B
Terrill’s Grade- B+
Thoughts- Becky battling strep and Rhea having an injured arm really shows how great these two women are. Becky gave it her all but Mami came out on top!
Six-pack tag team ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: Damian Priest/Finn Bálor (C) vs. R-Truth/The Miz vs. Tommaso Ciampa/Johnny Gargano vs. Kofi Kingston/Xavier Woods vs. Austin Theory/Grayson Waller vs. Pete Dunne/Tyler Bate.
Winner(s)- Theory/Waller are Smackdown tag champs and Awesome Truth are Raw tag champs.
Jt’s Grade- B+
Terrill’s Grade- A-
Thoughts- Ladder matches are always insane and when you have two sets of tag titles on the line, it only gets crazier! Super happy for Awesome Truth for this being their first tag titles ever!
Rey Mysterio & Andrade vs. Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio.
Winner- Rey Mysterio & Andrade
Jt’s Grade- B-
Terrill’s Grade- B
Thoughts- This match was scheduled for a tag match but felt like it ended in a gang warfare and that’s what it should’ve been from the beginning. Match was fast paced and quick.
Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso.
Winner- Jey Uso
Jt’s Grade- C
Terrill’s Grade- B+
Thoughts- YEET vs. NO YEET was definitely something…. To me this was on the lower end of the spectrum match wise. I love Jey and think he deserves better.
Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Naomi vs. Damage Control.
Winner- Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Naomi
Jt’s Grade- B+
Terrill’s Grade- B+
Thoughts- A Storm is here and her name is Jade Cargill. Cargill’s first match in WWE was great and she looked great but we can’t overlook her partners Naomi and Bianca. All 3 women looked incredible and I hope those 3 have bright futures.
Intercontinental Championship Match. Gunther (C) vs. Sami Zayn.
Winner- Sami Zayn. New Intercontinental Champion
Jt’s Grade- A-
Terrill’s Grade- A
Thoughts- I had my doubts, I won’t lie, that Sami couldn’t do it. I thought Gunther would continue this insane run but I was wrong. This match has everything I wanted and I’m happy Sami is the new Intercontinental Champion.
The Bloodline vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.
Winner- The Bloodline
Jt’s Grade- A
Terrill’s Grade- A
Thoughts- Cody and Seth had to win but The Bloodline said not today. The Rock retuning was massive and looked incredible in the ring. Cody and Seth took a massive beating and it showed on Night 2.
Night 2
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match. Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins (C).
Winner- Damian Priest after cash-in.
Jt’s Grade- B+
Terrill’s Grade- B+
Thoughts- Night 2 kicked off with a massive match and that match ended in a shocking way! Drew finally won in front of fans but wanted to taunt in front of CM Punk and when Punk had enough and beat McIntyre down, Damian cashed in and is now the new World Heavyweight Champion!
Philadelphia Street Fight Match. The Pride vs. The Final Testament.
Winner- The Pride
Jt’s Grade- C+
Terrill’s Grade- B-
Thoughts- This had a very small but effective ECW feel to it. The special guest referee was Bubba Ray Dudley and he even got involved. This match felt very Smackdown-ish and it probably could’ve stayed there.
LA Knight vs. AJ Styles.
Winner- LA Knight
Jt’s Grade- B
Terrill’s Grade- B
Thoughts- LA Knight deserves this win and with an incredible talent and vet like AJ, it was a very solid match. Oh hey, AJ got new theme music!
United States Championship Match. Logan Paul (C) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton.
Winner- Logan Paul
Jt’s Grade- B+
Terrill’s Grade- B+
Thoughts- Love him or hate him, Logan Paul is incredible in the ring. Kevin and Randy feel more like a tag team and maybe we’ll see that in the future.
WWE Women’s Championship Match. Iyo Sky (C) vs. Bayley.
Winner- Bayley. New Women’s Champion
Jt’s Grade- A
Terrill’s Grade- A
Thoughts- Bayley has been through it all. She wins the Rumble, her friends turn on her and she becomes the new champion!
WWE Undisputed Universal Championship Match. Roman Reigns (C) vs. Cody Rhodes.
Winner- Cody Rhodes. New WWE Undisputed Universal Champion
Jt’s Grade- A+
Terrill’s Grade- A+
Thoughts- Cinema. This match was magic. I loved every aspect of it. I felt like a movie and that’s what Professional Wrestling should be.
*Overall, this was the biggest and best WrestleMania’s I’ve seen. From all the new champions to the new stories and new era we’re embarking in, this was amazing. The future is bright and is in full speed moving forward.
