WWE Elimination Chamber Recap!

Elimination Chamber
"Credit to WWE"

The finale PLE before WrestleMania has come and gone. WWE's Elimination Chamber was a huge event not only because of the matches and stories heading into Mania but because it was held in Perth, Australia this year! When the PLE kicked off in Australia, it was 7PM their time but for me who lives in the United States and is on CST, I was up and ready to go at 4AM! The card only had 4 matches so let's get to reviewing!

Kick-off Show: WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (C) vs. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell

  • Winner- The Kabuki Warriors

  • Grade- B

  • Thought- This was a fun match simply because Indi was back home and got to perform infant of her family and friends. The reaction when she walked down the ramp and when LeRae got the tag in for the first time was heartwarming.

Women's Chamber Match: Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Bianca Belair.

  • Winner- Becky Lynch

  • Grade- A

  • Thought- Is it possible to give out co-MVP's? Well Morgan and Stratton were those and they are going to have an incredible run soon. Honestly, all of the women in this match were incredible!

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match: The Judgement Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (C) vs. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate

  • Winner- The Judgement Day

  • Grade- B

  • Thought- Personally, I think Dunne and Bate are better off as single competitors, but hey if they wanna tag then sure why not?

Men's Chamber Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul vs. LA Knight

  • Winner- Drew McIntyre

  • Grade- A

  • Thought- This match had it all for me. It was hard hitting, told stories and even started some Mania stories! McIntyre winning was predicted, but what wasn't was the feud with Knight and Styles who interfered and got Knight eliminated and Paul vs. Orton which happened because Paul hit Orton with some brass knuckles that wound up causing Orton to lose to McIntyre!

Overall, I really enjoyed Elimination Chamber and thought that all 4 matches on the card were very solid. The fact that I woke up before the sun was rising and talked to many people who were also up at that time for this PLE just goes to show that A-the card was great and B-we might all be crazy...
